A One-Page Monthly Marketing Report for Owners
A monthly marketing report a small business owner can read in ten minutes: enquiries, source, spend, and the one change to make next month.
Analytics
A monthly report should change a decision. Small business owners do not need a deck. They need one page: how many enquiries arrived, where they came from, what was spent, and what to change.
Four lines are enough
Write the enquiry count, the top source, the ad spend, and the page that sent the most leads. Pull enquiries from the inbox, not only from a chart. In GA4, use the traffic and event reports described in GA4 reports and ignore the rest until those four lines are reliable.
This is the monthly version of the weekly numbers It depends on analytics being connected to the form and the phone link.
Decide one change
If organic search produced the leads, give SEO another page rather than a new channel. If ads produced clicks and no enquiries, fix the landing page or the negatives in Google Ads before you add budget. If neither produced a lead, check that the site and the Google Business Profile still show the right phone number.
Send it on the same day each month
Put the page in an email to yourself or your client and archive it. After three months you can see whether local marketing or the website is doing the work. To have the tracking and the report set up, look at pricing or request a quotation.
